Improved Hardware:
The PS4 Pro has an improved CPU and AMD Polaris-based GPU that promises 100% increased performance over the original PS4. This is especially useful for Playstation VR, as Sony claims that the experience running on the PS4 Pro will be much smoother than on the vanilla PS4. It also comes standard with a 1TB hard drive.
4K Netflix Streaming:
Although there will NOT be support for True 4K Blu-Ray discs, there will be 4K video streaming through Netflix. You’ll be able to watch some of the hottest shows on TV in glorious 4K, including Luke Cage, Narcos, and more.
4K Gaming Support and HDR Technology:
The PS4 Pro promises support for true 4K gameplay as well as HDR (high dynamic range) support if you own a 4K HDR capable HDTV.
